Partner with Us

Home-Ec Revival partners with local churches and community groups to foster fun and exciting community-building events centered around the resurging public interest in forgotten arts and home-making skills—things like sewing, food preparation, gardening, crafting, and small animal husbandry.

Our goal is simple: Build community and fellowship through the revival of forgotten arts.

What is a Home-Ec Revival Partnership?

A Home-Ec Revival partnership allows a church or community group to start a local chapter using our existing library of educational resources.

Partner organizations receive access to:

  • A growing library of Home-Ec Revival–branded lectures, handouts, and make-and-take instructions
  • A proven system for starting, growing, and maintaining a community group
  • Resources, such as Canva templates for meeting agendas, that can be used to support group meetings

Each partner group runs its own local meetings while drawing from the shared Home-Ec Revival resource library.

What Partners Receive Access to

Partner organizations are granted permission to use:

  • Educational handouts and written guides
    • View the current library HERE >
  • Lecture outlines and reference materials
  • Make-and-take project instructions
  • Supporting resources developed through Home-Ec Revival

Materials may be used for local, in-person educational gatherings hosted by the partner organization and may not be redistributed or sold without written permission.

All materials remain the intellectual property of Home-Ec Revival and are provided for educational use only.

How Local Chapters are Run

Each Home-Ec Revival chapter is:

  • Organized and hosted locally
  • Operated by the partner organization
  • Tailored to the needs of its own community

Home-Ec Revival does not manage registrations, collect fees, or oversee event logistics unless otherwise agreed upon.

This structure allows each group to serve its community in a way that fits its culture, space, and schedule.

Recommendations for Local Chapters

We recommend that local chapters consider:

  • Hosting regular monthly meetings
  • Providing snacks, dinner, or pot-luck style food
  • Selecting one lecture topic and one make-and-take topic per event
  • Using these events to share about other upcoming community events or outreach
  • Offering all Home-Ec Revival events free of charge
  • Fostering group dialogue around each topic
    • Drawing giveaways for those that share
  • Creating a private Facebook group (e.g., Home Ec Revival at [Church Name]) for:
    • Announcements
    • Event reminders
    • Community connection
  • Clearly communicating that gatherings are educational and hands-on, and that participants are responsible for their own safety while using tools and materials

These are recommendations, not requirements—each chapter may adapt as needed.

Liability and Responsibility

Home Ec Revival provides educational materials only.

Partner organizations are responsible for:

  • Event supervision
  • Participant safety
  • Facility use
  • Compliance with their own policies and insurance requirements

Participants are encouraged to follow all safety guidelines and to participate at their own discretion.
